Software for small service businesses
I'm Josh Wald. I build software, and right now I'm doing the unglamorous part first: asking owners what they already pay for every month, before building anything.
Most of the obvious answers turn out to be dead ends. Review requests come bundled free with the field software people already have. AI call answering is included on plans they are already paying for. Nearly everything mechanical has been absorbed already.
So the useful question is the one I can't answer from a desk: what do you write a separate check for every month that you wish software just did for you?
